Yummy!!!

Loved the assortment of chocolate bars! It was great to try so many different flavors, and every single one was delicious! These are really big bars too, perfect for sharing. They arrived lightning fast and in perfect condition, and as always everything was packaged bee-autifully!

Yummo!

I loved the variety of chocolate bars I received. My favorite has to be the Perky Nana! Such a great selection, and such a nice treat to share with friends at our afternoon tea catch up. So nice to be able to try different treats from New Zealand. (and yes, I actually shared these ones)

Disappointed

As hard as it is to be disappointed in something as magical as chocolate and as much as I don’t like leaving negative reviews, I feel it is important to mention my experience. I ordered two boxes of these (20 bars) planning on giving them to all the kids for Easter. I received a few limited edition bars, but also received regular, plain chocolate bars as well. I’m questioning how many in my pack were actually limited edition. But what prompted me to write this review is that I received 3 Gingerbread Biscuit bars labeled, “Christmas Edition.” These were received on March 22 with a US exp. date of 5/6. Not only can I not gift these to the kids for Easter, but I am horrified I’m receiving last year’s Christmas candy, complete with Christmas trees on the package. These would have been more suited to stuff in a mystery box, not still being sold to customers. I’m too embarrassed to give last year’s Christmas candy away, and Honeybunch should be too. I definitely did not need Christmas chocolate shipped to the US from NZ in March. Definitely do not recommend. Save your money as these are not cheap.

And as a follow up, yes, I agree chocolate is meant to be eaten. The clearly marked Christmas candy should have been eaten at Christmas, not pawned off to a customer paying full price for what should have been reduced candy after New Years. These expire in 6 weeks. Of course, had they been ordered in preparation for Christmas, it would have been fine but that isn’t the case. I’ve requested a refund.

Thanks so much for your review Michelle. We re sorry you re disappointed, especially since the gingerbread chocolate is our favorite! As you know we love openly communicating, and a lot of our chocolate stash customers actually reach out and list what chocolate flavors they would like to receive, and we are always happy to do our best. Everyone has different tastes, so we just love to give a good mix of the current chocolate flavors available at the time. With regards to the expiry dates, we always send products that are valid for a good period, and chocolate is designed to be eaten ...so enjoy and have aa BEEautiful daay! Lisa
